The virtual class was definitely a lot better than I expected it to be. I was surprised at how connected I felt to you and all the other students. The quality of the teaching was just the same, but more importantly I could still feel emotionally present without being physically present. I think it is worth considering keeping an online (work from home) study day in your curriculum in future, even when we get past this pandemic. It gave me an opportunity to work with the technology and feel more confident when using it with clients. I admit to being someone who is dragging their heels over this new way of working, but I think that is mainly because I am afraid that it will feel as soulless as working in a call centre. I am glad that you have been able to prove me wrong.

I have been impressed with Heartwood from the very beginning, it was only as we experienced the problems which arose from Covid19 that I became even more impressed with their ability to adapt and change with the new demands of social distancing. We were all set up with virtual learning without even missing a session. The virtual learning has been much better than I could have hoped for, it is almost like being back in the classroom. I have been able to continue my studies from home, during lockdown which has been incredibly reassuring in a time of uncertainty. I can say that with Heartwood I have felt really well held throughout all the levels I have done. The course has been life changing for me. I am so glad I have done it. I feel better equipped to cope with the current employment situation. My life has more choices and I have hope at a time of difficulty. I will really miss Heartwood and all the support it has offered, when the course is finished.
