We are pleased to announce that Heartwood’s LIVE virtual classrooms were launched/went LIVE on Tuesday 24^th March! Following government guidance and the commitment from universities, schools and colleges to support all students in these challenging times!

Our students are delighted that the development enables everyone enrolled on Level 3 Foundation, Level 4 Diploma and Level 5 Psychotherapy to continue their studies through the LIVE real-time virtual classroom supported by the inhouse expert Heartwood Counselling Tutor Team. 

Uniquely for us our programmer has created a specialist virtual learning classroom on the Learn for my Future platform. Guided by the tutor as if we were all in the Heartwood training room together the platform facilitates formalised, structured activities, and enable the full range of classroom based tutor led learning, group work, student led pair work, supported learning and interaction. As well as trio/three way practice triads for students to really develop their counselling skills!

This opportunity presents education for the future, an online, user friendly platform, allowing flexibility for the learner to connect virtually to classrooms on a home computer, tablet or smartphone in these busy times. Currently working from home? We have weekday, evening or weekend options to suit. All students will receive support and guidance throughout their studies as is the Heartwood standard. Our accrediting body the NCS has backed learning in this way during this present time to enable students to continue on their journey to getting qualified at this ever more pressing time!

Graduation news – Congratulations to our latest graduate who obtained their Level 4 Diploma on Tuesday this week! Now ready as a qualified Counsellor for all the opportunities there are out there to support people at the moment! We wish you well on your journey!
